Miah Ntepp is currently serving as the Director of Policy at the Denver NAACP Unit since May 2022. In this role, he has been responsible for advancing priorities and developing solutions to achieve objectives related to health, equity, and access. This includes active participation in the legislative process and state and local rule makings. He also manages a high-functioning team, providing training, motivation, and coaching to volunteers. Additionally, he tracks health and human service legislation and provides accurate and concise public information.
Prior to this current position, Miah served as the Chief of Staff at the Colorado Senate from May 2020 to June 2022. In this role, he provided legislative research, analysis, data, and reporting for the Senate Health and Human Services committee. He also organized Democratic Senate chair committee meetings and managed office operations, administration, scheduling, and interns. Their responsibilities included supporting Members of the State Senate Health and Human Services committee. He now serves as the Environmental Justice Coordinator for our RMNAACP team.
